My plans for this blog or the blogging schedule

Why is it that the very first post in a blog seems to be the most difficult? Do you feel the same?

Anyway, now that we are past the first paragraph, I can briefly let you know what my intentions are with this blog. Maybe it is even easier if I tell what this blog is NOT about. Definitely, I don’t want
– another blog “documenting” the journey of an internet marketer from X to Y
– another blog re-publishing news and items from zillion other sites
– another blog with boring daily “journal” posts of non-events
– another blog masquerading as “review site” and trying to sell affiliate products…
(Actually, there is nothing wrong with selling products as an affiliate and from time to time I will do so, however, I will promote them openly with full disclosure.)

I am not promising a daily blog post. This is my very personal blog and I will not hire a ghost writer to fill it up with daily posts in my name. (Yes, it happens too often out there…)

Here is what I plan to do.

1. Once a week I have a story night. The greatest teachers of the mankind were all using stories (fables, parables) to teach us. Not that I, necessarily, want to teach you anything because most likely you don’t need it. Although, if I can make you to think for a moment, to give you some food for thought — that would be enough. I used to live and work in many countries with very different cultures and I do have great stories about the people I met. They were teaching me a great deal of things about the world, about people. I will be just handing over to you what I got.

2. Also, on another day of the week I will post something about the “state of the Internet Marketing” — as I see it. I will write about good things because there are good things happening out there and I will write about the bad things, too. Writing about the “good stuff” might make me popular, and who doesn’t like that? On the other hand, writing about what I perceive as bad, will make me for sure un-popular in certain circles. Of course, nobody likes to be unpopular, and I am not a masochist either. But there are moments in the life when you have to take a stand.

Plus, anything in between, meaning I will post whenever I feel the urge to do so, if I have anything to say. Furthermore, as I said earlier, sometimes I will recommend tools or products or services that I have found useful for my work or my life in general.

That should be enough for now and if I come up with other ideas I will let you know. Come with me on this journey and subscribe to this blog. Oh, yes, and follow me on Twitter…
